What is profhilo structura?
Profhilo® Structura is a groundbreaking injectable treatment designed to lift, contour, and rejuvenate the facial profile by targeting superficial fat layers.

Profhilo® Structura is uniquely formulated to work harmoniously with superficial fat tissue. Its specific
composition and concentration enhance this integration and compatibility.
It is developed using patented NAHYCO® technology, which stabilises a distinct complex of high and low molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. This thermal process removes the need for the chemical cross-linkers that are commonly required in other hyaluronic acid formulations and fillers, ensuring a purer product.
Once injected, Profhilo® Structura activates ageing adipose fat cell receptors, subtly and safely encouraging them to mimic the behaviour of their youth.

What happens during my consultation?
During your consultation a detailed medical history will be taken, helping the medical specialist to determine whether Profhilo is an appropriate product/treatment for you to receive and whether it will help you achieve the results that you are looking for. During this consultation the potential risks and aftercare recommendations are discussed, helping you determine whether this form of injectable treatment is really right for you. You may also require this face to face assessment to determine how many sessions you may require.
What happens during my treatment appointment?
Preparation
An assessment is performed to make a decision on our treatment protocol.
Treatment
The prefilled syringe of Profhilo Structura is injected using a small cannula.
Profhilo® Structura is injected in the preauricular area – the upper cheek region – using a protocol that evaluates facial structure, including midface projection, hollows, laxity, and skin density.
What’s the aftercare advice?
You will be given verbal advice and written aftercare advice.
- Immediately after treatment there may be tenderness, sensation of heat, itching, burning, redness, bruising, oedema or swelling at the injection site. These are temporary and generally disappear in few days.
- Avoid touching the treatment area for 6 hours after the treatment. After that the area can be washed with a gentle cleanser and skincare or SPF applied. Make up can be applied the following day.
- Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold.
- Avoid strenuous exercise and swimming to avoid a risk of infection.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.
- After treatment and for next 3 to 5 days avoid exposure to UV rays and protect the treated area with SPF50 sunscreen.
- Please discuss any further cosmetic procedures with your nurse.
- Do not massage or manipulate the treated area.
- Stay hydrated.

Who is not suitable for this treatment?
- Anyone allergic to any of the ingredients in the Profhilo Structura
- Skin infection at the injection site
- Profhilo Structura treatment is contraindicated for some people with certain auto-immune diseases
- If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breast-feeding (It is not known if the Profhilo Structura can be harmful to your unborn child)
